Come rediscover your playful self!
Play is the natural language of children — one that often becomes obscured as we take on the serious responsibilities of caring for others and navigating the challenges of adult life. This 2 ½-hour workshop offers a chance to reconnect with your innate playfulness and creativity. Through sensory awareness movement—walking, sitting, and lying down — and interacting with everyday objects, you’ll rediscover how play can help you ground yourself, stay present, and experience the power of joy.
This workshop offers a much-needed opportunity to counter the stress and fatigue helping professionals are all too familiar with. It is designed to nourish your heart, restore well-being, and inspire a sense of peaceful joy and curiosity — tools that are vital for sustaining the emotional and mental stamina needed to serve others — and yourself!
Workshop leader Liz Hagerman is a board-certified dance/movement therapist and a certified Pikler® Pedagogue as well as an advocate for play in infants, young children — and, well, everyone!
