Starting Middle-School with Confidence…
This fun and engaging workshop helps kids build confidence and self-awareness while learning about self-care tools they can use every day!
Middle school brings new challenges, but one of the best ways to navigate change is by building a strong self-care routine. In this two-hour workshop, Center founder & director, Kate Kelly, and yoga and mindfulness instructor, Linda Feldman, will help soon-to-be 6th graders develop practical tools for emotional balance, stress management, and everyday self-care.
Through movement, mindfulness, and hands-on activities, tweens will learn how to regulate emotions, calm anxious thoughts, and create simple, go-to habits that support their well-being — inside and out.
What we’ll cover:
Yoga & movement for easing anxiety and boosting confidence
Breathing & mindfulness exercises to calm the nervous system in stressful moments
Self-regulation practice to manage emotions
Becoming your own BFF to quiet negative self-talk and build self-kindness and confidence
Essential oil blends to encourage focus, relaxation, and calm
How to create a personal self-care plan with sleep, nutrition, and movement habits to help you feel your best
This workshop is a great way to build confidence and self-awareness while gaining tools kids can use every day — through middle school and beyond!
