A Year-Long Journey on Grief, Compassion, and the Path of the Dakini
The Center for Family Well-Being is excited to invite our community to a special offering with one of our core Buddhist teachers, Choying Khandro of the Dakini’s Whisper lineage.
Join Khandro-la and facilitators Kate Kelly and Elizabeth Ebaugh for a year-long, ritual-infused book club exploring grief, compassion, shadow work, and healing through a Dharma lens. We’ll address both personal grief and collective loss — our country, our climate, and our world —through readings, guided practices, and meaningful rituals rooted in Buddhist wisdom and communal support.
Using Francis Weller’s The Wild Edge of Sorrow as a guide, therapists will facilitate discussion alongside Khandro-la’s ancient Buddhist lineage rituals and practices, creating a safe space to face loss, foster compassion, and cultivate joy.
Open to all with registration.
