Transition to College with Confidence

A 6-week skill-building group for college-bound teens

Heading off to college is a big transition, and it’s normal to feel a mix of both excitement and uncertainty. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just curious about what to really expect, you’re not alone! This 6-week group for college-bound teens offers a supportive space to explore your worries and build the confidence to navigate this new chapter with balance and authenticity.

What we’ll explore

  • Authenticity: Identify what actually matters most to you, so your highest values are the driving force behind what you pursue and how you build your new social network.

  • Happiness: Understand what truly creates happiness and how to apply this knowledge to design a college experience that supports your well-being.

  • Healthy relationships: Learn practical tools for building strong, positive relationships with roommates and peers, including effective communication and conflict resolution.

  • Stress management: Use tools rooted in self-compassion, mindfulness, and body awareness to manage stress in healthy ways.

  • Setting boundaries: Develop the skills to set healthy boundaries and establish productive study habits.

This group is designed to help you not only transition smoothly into college but also build a foundation for living with greater authenticity, balance, and confidence. Embrace your strengths and navigate this exciting new chapter with self-assurance and clarity!
