In times of change or uncertainty, how do we meet life’s intensity without feeling overwhelmed? The practice of mindfulness, or present-moment awareness, helps us stay grounded and better able to respond to difficult emotions, thoughts, and situations that arise in daily life.
Center therapist Liz Liptak is here to help you discover evidence-based tools to calm your nervous system and access the restorative benefits of deep rest and relaxation. In this 4-week clinical group-course hybrid, you’ll gain hands-on experience with mindfulness techniques that promote real, lasting stress relief.
What we’ll explore:
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) – Build present-moment-awareness to manage stress, stay grounded, and navigate difficult emotions — especially in times of stress and uncertainty.
iRest Yoga Nidra – A guided meditation practice proven to support deep relaxation, improve sleep, and reduce anxiety.
Reiki – Gentle energy-balancing techniques to promote calm, healing, and inner harmony.
Breathwork and Body Awareness – Practical tools to regulate the nervous system, release tension, and create a sense of inner peace.
Through these transformative practices, you’ll learn how to meet difficult thoughts and emotions with compassion (both for yourself and others!) while tapping into the healing power of rest.

Dates*: 4 Thursday evenings: March 20, 27, April 3, 10
Time: 6:00-7:15 p.m.

Payment: This is a clinical group/course hybrid. This group requires a non-refundable $125 deposit, with the remaining amount billed one week before the program’s start date. Our clinical groups are typically reimbursable by PPO health insurance, medical flexible spending, or health savings accounts. Please note that the Center does not contract with insurance companies, but we provide all necessary documentation for clients to submit for reimbursement.
