Looking for a fun and supportive space for your middle schooler to build friendships and grow important life skills? This activity-based group is a supportive space for boys and gender-diverse youth in 5th-7th grade to connect with peers, build confidence, and navigate the social and emotional transitions that come with middle school.

Throughout the semester, we’ll integrate mindfulness, CBT-informed strategies, and expressive and play-based interventions — all with the goal of helping boys build valuable lifelong skills:

  • Emotional awareness

  • Healthy expression and regulation of emotions

  • Increased flexibility and frustration tolerance

  • Self-advocacy, compassion, and positive self-esteem

  • Connection to self and others

  • Understanding and communicating internal experiences while practicing interpersonal skills

This group is a safe, encouraging space where boys can be themselves, build connections, and develop skills that’ll serve them well in middle school and beyond!
