4th- & 5th-Grade Girls In Tune: Riding the Wave - Coping, Communication, and Confidence Building

This in-person expressive play, art, talk, and activity-based group also integrates mind-body practices (breath work, guided visualization, yoga, qi gong and meditation) to offer participants opportunities to learn about—and regulate—emotions; manage worries; develop skills for building strong and healthy friendships; and grow authentic connections with ourselves and others.

  • Dates*: This is an ongoing winter/spring semester after-school group that meets once per week for 16 weeks, beginning Tuesday, January 7.

  • Time: 4-5 p.m.

  • Place: The Center for Family Well-Being, 5039 Connecticut Ave. NW #7 Washington DC 20008

*Thanks for your interest in this group! We typically require at least four registered participants per group in order for it to run as scheduled. If we haven't met this minimum number of participants before a group begins, we may pause or push back the start date. We will always communicate any changes with registered participants.
