Experience

I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist in training at The Center for Family Well-Being. Before embarking on my career in mental health, I worked in film where I collaborated with and supported gifted artists as they created stories about the power of connection and transformation. This led me to pursue a career in therapy, where I could further help people discover, share, and transform their own stories. I graduated from my master’s program in 2022. During this program, I interned at an addiction treatment center where I was trained in CBT, DBT, experiential therapy, and music-assisted therapy. I’ve been using and expanding on these experiences at the Center since 2023.

Therapeutic  Focus

I work with adolescents, young adults, adults, couples, and families with issues including grief and loss, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and interpersonal relationship concerns. I also co-facilitate the middle-school and high-school Girls In Tune groups.

In my work with clients, I integrate person-centered, family systems, emotionally focused, and mindfulness-based approaches. I am particularly passionate about helping individuals and families navigate grief.

Philosophy

I’ve always sought out the role of motivator and encourager, believing confidently that where there is struggle there is growth. I’ve walked through many roles — soccer team captain, camp counselor, marketing director, assistant, and now therapist — and my goal is always the same: progress.

I share that same hope with my clients. I aspire to help others make progress, finding inspiration and comfort so that they can walk through life’s ups and downs with a foundation of self-compassion, empathy, and vulnerability. As I continue to grow in my own career, I plan to continue my education through more trainings in grief, family therapy, and beyond.
