Calling all young makers and imaginative minds! This fun and engaging two-hour workshop is designed for children ages 8-11 who love to roll up their sleeves and dive into creative adventures.

Rather than focusing on the final product, we’ll explore the magic of the creative process. Through hands-on projects, children will engage in playful self-discovery and meaningful emotional expression, nurturing their curiosity and confidence along the way.

This workshop welcomes all children ages 8-11, including — but certainly not limited to — DCPS students enjoying their day off from school. This is a small group with limited space, so sign up early!

  • Teachers: Lisa Oakley, LICSW, and Lori Milstein (art and drama teacher)

  • Date: Friday, March 14, 2024 (DCPS is not in session)

  • Time: 1-3 p.m.

  • Place: The Center for Family Well-Being, 5039 Connecticut Ave. NW #7 Washington DC 20008

  • Cost: $95 per person
