Our “outdoor living room,” set up for an evening group session in 2021.

The Center for Family Well-Being is here for you during this ongoing time of uncertainty. We are regularly monitoring the status of the COVID-19 pandemic, and are taking all measures to ensure the health and safety of our clients and staff. Our offices and waiting room are open; we are masking throughout indoor common spaces, and sessions are either masked or unmasked, based on individual client/clinician needs. If you elect to engage in indoor sessions, your clinician will review protocols with you. We are pleased to provide you with several additional options for receiving care during this time:

  • Virtual Services - Individual & Group

    • The Center for Family Well-Being clinicians are fully equipped to offer telemental health services, and we are committed to working thoughtfully to create a supportive, person-centered experience. We perform all telehealth services in strict accordance with existing standards of care and conduct. Our groups are in-person at this time, but we are prepared to offer virtual care as a back-up option if needed.

  • Walking Therapy - Individual

    • Several therapists offer “walking therapy,” which makes use of the physical environment for addressing various client issues.

  • In-person Outdoor Therapy - Individual & Group: UPDATE

    • We were so pleased to be able to offer our community the “outdoor living room” through the most uncertain times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you for joining us in that special effort to continue to make in-person therapy accessible and safe during a period when it didn’t seem possible!

Please feel free to ask for more information about these offerings, as well as our safety protocols and procedures, when you call to inquire about services at the Center.

*The unique characteristics of tele-mental health, tele-health media, and outdoor therapy present both risks and benefits. When initiating any of these services, your therapist will provide you with appropriate information, fully apprising you of all potential risks and benefits; you will craft personalized plans for how to manage risk and promote safety.
