“Tuning In” to Summer: Growing Healthy Habits of Self-Care — a Group for Middle-Schoolers

This 5-week “tune-in” group — part of our series on the foundations of well-being — helps middle-schoolers learn to manage stress, balance moods, and face the inevitable transitions in their lives with increased confidence and resilience. With a combination of mindfulness, yoga, expressive, and brain-based techniques, group members develop their own holistic toolbox for self-compassion, coping, and growth.

  • Facilitated by: Kate Kelly, MA, MSW, LICSW and Linda Feldman, MA, RYT, E-RYT and RCYT, yoga and mindfulness teacher

  • Dates: Five Tuesdays, in person: June 6, 20, & 27; July 11 & 18

  • Time: 4-5 p.m.

  • Place: The Center for Family Well-Being, 5039 Connecticut Ave. NW #7 Washington DC 20008
